Jewels Story
Jewels Butterflies was created in loving memory of Jewel, a beautiful, bright, and full-of-life 12-year-old whose life was deeply affected by bullying.
Jewel had a beautiful spirit and brought light and joy to the people around her. Behind her smile was a young girl who deserved to feel safe, accepted, supported, and loved. Her experience with bullying showed us how deeply bullying can impact a child’s life and how important it is for young people to have somewhere they can turn to.
Jewels Butterflies was born from a desire to honor Jewel’s life and keep her spirit of love and joy alive. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where children and teens can be themselves without fear of judgment or bullying.
Through fun activities, friendship, encouragement, and support, we strive to help young people build confidence, create meaningful connections, and understand that they matter, they are valued, and they are never alone.
Jewel’s story is our reminder that every child deserves a safe place to belong. Her memory is our motivation to create one.
